Israel’s efficient and modern healthcare system attracted international attention at the latest during the corona pandemic, which earned the young Middle Eastern state with a population of around 9 million the titles “vaccination world champion”. This was helped in particular by the country’s highly digitized healthcare system and the effective use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the medical context. A close exchange with Israel, where the digitization of the healthcare system began more than 25 years ago and whose healthcare industry is now one of the leading beneficiaries of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), brings enormous potential for Germany .<\/p>\n

The panel will give an overview about Israel’s digital health ecosystem and demonstrate the potential of AI-based digital health applications, while touching upon the necessary regulatory framework in the EU and Germany and the question of communication and trust required to facilitate development and implementation of digital health apps.<\/p>\n

Presented by ELNET-Germany and its innovation projects the German Israeli Health Forum for Artificial Intelligence (GIHF-AI) and the German Israeli Network of Startups and Mittelstand (GINSUM).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
