The German Israeli Health Forum for Artificial Intelligence (GIHF-AI) will hold its first annual conference in Tel Aviv on November 28-29. Hosted and sponsored by the Israeli Ministry of Health, the conference will kick off on November 28 with a high-profile reception in Tel Aviv featuring welcome remarks by Nitzan Horowitz, Minister of Health at the Israeli Ministry of Health, and impulse speeches by Esti Shelly, Director of Digital Health at the Israeli Ministry of Health, and Dr. Susanne Ozegowski, Director General for Digitalization and Innovation at the German Federal Ministry of Health.
The main event will take place on November 29 at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov). In addition to an introduction by Ichilov CEO Prof. Dr. Ronni Gamzu, Dr. Yiannos Tolias (Legal Advisor, European Commission) will deliver a keynote speech on the legal challenges of using health data and AI.
Furthermore, Esti Shelly and Dr. Susanne Ozegowski will provide deep insights into the state of digitalization and AI applications in German and Israeli healthcare, and Prof. Dr. Ran Balicer (CIO, Clalit Healt Services) will give a keynote speech on data-driven innovation and further present, together with Prof. Dr. Sylvia Thun, Director of the Core Unit eHealth and Interoperability (CEI) at Charité Berlin, a cross-national survey project that GIHF-AI is planning for next year.
