Prof. Dr. Ran Balicer is a physician, scientist and CIO at Clalit. He also serves as Founding Director of the Clalit Research Institute. Balicer is Full Professor and Track Director of the MPH program at the Ben-Gurion University School of Public Health. In addition, he serves as Chair of the Israeli Society for Quality in Healthcare since 2013, and as member and advisor of multiple national and international committees. Since 2020, Prof. Balicer serves as Chairman of Israel's National Experts Team on COVID-19 Response. He has authored over 250 scientific publications, books and book chapters.

The doctor and qualified engineer Prof. Dr. Sylvia Thun has been a Charité Visiting Professor since 2018, funded by the Charité Foundation. In addition, she heads the Core Facility Digital Medicine & Interoperability at the BIH. In 2021 she was appointed to the professorship for digital medicine and interoperability at the Charité. Thun is, among other things, chairwoman of the leading association for IT standards in the healthcare sector (SITiG) and deputy chairwoman of HL7 Germany. She accelerates the introduction of international standards in leading positions in major projects of the BMBF, BMG and the EU. Sylvia Thun is a bearer of the Federal Cross of Merit.

Lothar H. Wieler is a veterinarian, microbiologist and expert in global public health. His research focuses on infectious diseases that can be transmitted between animals and humans (zoonoses) and have pandemic potential. Wieler will conduct future research in digital health, particularly on global public health issues. Its goal is to reduce health inequities by promoting digital public health, at the local, national, and international levels, with a particular focus on low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

Prof. Dr. Karl Broich is a doctor (neurology, psychiatry, cognitive behavioral therapy) and has been President of the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) in Bonn since 2014. His current activities in the European network of regulatory authorities are Member of the Board of Directors of the European Medicines Agency (EMA MB) and Chair of the Network Portfolio Advisory Group (NPAG). He is a member of the Heads of Medicines Agencies (HMA) Management Group and currently serves as its Chair. He is also Co-Chair of the Darwin EU Advisory Board of the EMA.

Prof. Dr. Ronni Gamzu

Prof. Dr. Ronni Gamzu is a specialist in gynaecology. After studying human medicine at Tel Aviv University, he began working at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov), where he has been a member of the management team since 2002. From 2010 to 2014 Prof. Gamzu was Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Health. In 2014 he was appointed Senior Health Policy Analyst at the OECD in Paris. Ronni Gamzu achieved international recognition as the Israeli government's first corona officer. Since 2015, Prof. Gamzu has headed the Ichilov Hospital.

Prof. Dr. Martin Kreis is a specialist in surgery. After completing his medical studies at the University of Tübingen, he worked at the surgical university clinic there. After his habilitation and appointment as senior physician, he worked at the Munich University Hospital.
