From 10 to 14 November 2024, the European Leadership Network (ELNET) organized a digital health delegation trip to Israel as part of the German Israeli Health Forum for Artificial Intelligence (GIHF-AI) in cooperation with the State Chancellery of Saxony. This publication provides political recommendations for
action developed by the delegation participants.
At the beginning of November, ELNET and BVMed organized a webinar for members of the association on the activities of GIHF-AI. The topics discussed included the work of GIHF-AI over the past three years as well as current developments in Israeli healthcare policy and digital healthcare applications in the highly digitized startup nation.
As part of a high-ranking delegation from the German healthcare system, participants will explore the vibrant Israeli ecosystem, exchange ideas, and plan concrete collaboration projects with leaders of Israeli health institutions and governmental representatives.
The third annual conference of ELNET’s German Israeli Health Forum for Artificial Intelligence (GIHF-AI) with German Federal Minister of Health Prof. Karl Lauterbach brought around 120 German and Israeli stakeholders from the healthcare sector on June 24/25 to Berlin.
The German Israeli Health Forum for Artificial Intelligence (GIHF-AI) is holding its third annual conference in Berlin from June 24 to 25. German and Israeli digital health stakeholders from politics, business, science, medicine and research are expected to attend.
To present the study on trust in the use of health data in Germany and Israel conducted by the German Israeli Health Forums for Artificial Intelligence (GIHF-AI), the European Leadership (ELNET) organized a parliamentary breakfast in the German Bundestag on January 17.
Within the framework of the GIHF-AI, ELNET organized a parliamentary breakfast on December 12 at the DPG in Berlin in cooperation with the Israeli company Novocure on the topic of AI in research and application.
With GIHF-AI and GINSUM, ELNET brought a delegation of healthcare experts, innovation managers, startups as well as representatives of the Israeli Ministry of Health to Berlin and Essen.
In mid-May, ELNET organized a parliamentary exchange on the topic of health data use in the European Parliament in Brussels at the invitation of Lena Düpont MEP and Angelika Niebler MEP as part of GIHF-AI.
The largest DMEA to date, with more than 700 exhibitors and over 16,000 participants, was held in the spacious halls of Messe Berlin from April 25-27, 2023.
