ELNET represented with GINSUM and GIHF-AI at Big Bang Health in Essen

Under the motto “Experience the future of medicine live”, Prof. Dr. Jochen A. Werner, Medical Director of the University Medical Center Essen, and member of the Board of Trustees of the German Israeli Health Forum for Artificial Intelligence (GIHF-AI), as well as the publisher and organizer Jens de Buhr from 31.08.-01.09.2022 in the Colosseum Theater in Essen to the premiere of the BIG BANG HEALTH Festival. Together with the German Israeli Network of Startups and Mittelstand (GINSUM) and GIHF-AI, ELNET participated in the “Fireworks of Medicine” and brought Israeli know-how in the field of Digital Health to Essen. In addition to a panel discussion with Carsten Ovens, Executive Director ELNET in Germany, former Federal Minister Brigitte Zypries (ELNET Advisory Board member), Inga Bergen (Visionaries of Health) and Thomas Hofmann (Careanimations), in which the topic “Start-up brake healthcare sector” was discussed, GINSUM brought the Israeli startup Vayyar Imaging to the Ruhr metropolis for networking with German companies. GIHF-AI Board of Trustees member Dr. Gottfried Ludewig, Senior VP Health Industry T-Systems International, and representatives from Philips also stopped by the ELNET booth for a presentation of the innovative fall detection system

The digital keynote by GIHF-AI Board of Trustees member Prof. Dr. Eyal Zimlichman, CMO and CTO of Israel’s largest hospital, Sheba Medical Center, and Dr. Anke Diehl, CTO of Essen University Hospital, once again underscored the value of close cooperation between Germany and Israel in the healthcare sector.
