Prof. Dr. Ran Balicer is a physician, scientist and CIO at Clalit. He also serves as Founding Director of the Clalit Research Institute. Balicer is Full Professor and Track Director of the MPH program at the Ben-Gurion University School of Public Health. In addition, he serves as Chair of the Israeli Society for Quality in Healthcare since 2013, and as member and advisor of multiple national and international committees.

Prof. Dr. med. Christian Gerloff has been running the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf since 2023. After studying in Freiburg and Vienna, he completed his specialist training as a neurologist in Tübingen and spent three years conducting research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, USA. From 2006 to 2022, he was Director of the Neurological University Clinic in Hamburg and conducted numerous research projects focusing on stroke and neuronal networks. From 2019 to 2024, he served on the Executive Committee of the German Neurological Society, of which he was President from 2021 to 2022.

He is currently conducting studies in the field of digital health, with a particular focus on global public health issues. His goal is to reduce health inequalities by promoting digital public health at local, national, and international levels, with a particular focus on low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
