Last fall, ELNET founded the German Israeli Health Forum for Artificial Intelligence (GIHF-AI). The bilateral program examines the potential of digitization and innovation in healthcare, with a special focus on artificial intelligence.
Since April 2022, GIHF-AI has been supported by a 17-member board of trustees in an advisory capacity. This one belongs next to Prof. Dr. Karl Broich (President of the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices; BfArM), Nicole Formica-Schiller (CEO Pamanicor Health), Prof. Dr. Ronni Gamzu (CEO Sourasky Medical Center Tel Aviv), Mati Gill (CEO AION Labs), Prof. Dr. Martin E. Kreis (Head of Health Care at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin), Dr. Gottfried Ludewig (Senior Vice President Health Industry at T-Systems), Prof. Dr. Claudia Schmidtke (Speaker University Heart Center Lübeck), Limor Shmerling Magazanik (Managing Director of the Israel Tech Policy Institute), Dr. Joachim Seeler (Partner at HSP Hamburg Invest GmbH), Prof. Dr. Sylvia Thun (Director of the Core Unit E-Health and Interoperability at BIH/Charité), Prof. Dr. Jochen Werner (Chairman of the University Medicine Essen) and Dr. Johannes Wimmer (TV and internet doctor).
The members of the Bundestag are Tabea Rößner (Greens, Chairwoman of the Digital Committee) and Ronja Kemmer (Chairwoman of the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group and Member of the Digital Committee), as well as the members of the Health Committee Bettina Müller (SPD), Stephan Pilsinger (CSU)and Prof. Dr. Andrew Ullmann (FDP).
