At the beginning of November, ELNET and BVMed organized a webinar for members of the association on the activities of GIHF-AI. The topics discussed included the work of GIHF-AI over the past three years as well as current developments in Israeli healthcare policy and digital healthcare applications in the highly digitized startup nation.
The third annual conference of ELNET’s German Israeli Health Forum for Artificial Intelligence (GIHF-AI) with German Federal Minister of Health Prof. Karl Lauterbach brought around 120 German and Israeli stakeholders from the healthcare sector on June 24/25 to Berlin.
After GIHF-AI published its first study on the willingness to share health data for research and care management in Germany and Israel in January 2023, this publication investigates the status quo of leading AI-based solutions in Europe and Israel.

With GIHF-AI and GINSUM, ELNET brought a delegation of healthcare experts, innovation managers, startups as well as representatives of the Israeli Ministry of Health to Berlin and Essen.
The German Israeli Health Forum for Artificial Intelligence (GIHF-AI) will hold its second annual conference on September 05-06, 2023, in advance of Big Bang Health in Essen, Germany.
Central aspects of the new partnerships are the development of a common data platform, the initiation of research projects, the exchange of employees and the transfer of know-how for digitization measures.
In mid-May, ELNET organized a parliamentary exchange on the topic of health data use in the European Parliament in Brussels at the invitation of Lena Düpont MEP and Angelika Niebler MEP as part of GIHF-AI.
